Wild Issues Are Going on: The Artwork of Maurice Sendak will be the first major retrospective of Sendak considering the fact that his loss of life in 2012, and the premier and most total exhibition of one of the most celebrated and original artists of our time. The exhibition is structured by the Columbus Museum of Art in conjunction with The Maurice Sendak Foundation.
The exhibition is comprised of far more than 150 sketches, storyboards, and paintings by Sendak drawn from the collection of The Maurice Sendak Basis. Highlights contain initial perform for Sendak’s most renowned textbooks: Where the Wild Items Are, In the Night time Kitchen area, and Exterior In excess of There.
