LeCrue Eyebrows First Solo Exhibition at Van Der Plas Gallery

When I first came upon LeCrue Eyebrows‘ artworks on the streets of my metropolis, I was struck at when by its singular authenticity. Every single piece intrigues, as it exudes a distinctive aura of mystery. Visible meditations on these common themes as adore, reduction and longing, the is effective are subtly potent and strikingly wonderful.

Not to be missed is the Queens-dependent artist’s first solo exhibition at Van Der Plas Gallery. At at the time quietly raw and soulfully tasteful, each and every do the job tells a story – to be freely interpreted by its viewer.  And each and every piece was developed freely and spontaneously, as very little that Lecrue produces is premeditated. The act of painting, by itself, is to the artist “an extreme form of meditation.”

The beguiling image pictured over, “Move with Me,” was fashioned this calendar year with acrylic on canvas. Several a lot more photos I captured when checking out “Primitive Form” previous weekend comply with:

“Own Storm,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022

“Stand With Me,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022

“Her Breath in Time,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022

“Just Over and above the Window,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022

And on a fairly unique take note — “Together,” Blended media on cold push paper, 2022
