As a youngster, Estée Preda was read Hans Christian Andersen and Brothers Grimm fairy tales every single night by her mother who escaped the iron curtain. She lived across the hall from her grand-mother who was inclined to night time terrors. She would look at out the window from her residence as one period would gradually transform into one more.
